Shades of Green was inspired by a visit to a nursery one sunny morning. As I browsed for plants to bring home, I spotted a cat peacefully sleeping, nestled among the greenery. The way the sunlight bathed the scene filled it with a sense of serenity, and I wanted to capture that feeling through the various shades of green in the foliage. This piece was named after the nursery Shades of Green in San Antonio, Texas.
